About me

Sound has always been more than just my profession. 

Ιt’s my way of storytelling.

Based in Edinburgh, I work as a Sound Engineer and Designer, shaping audio experiences for film, television, live performance, and beyond. My work ranges from sound for documentaries and horror films to children’s programmes for CBeebies, commercial ads, museum exhibitions, and live events.

My educational background includes a BA in Sound Production and Engineering and an MA in Sound Production, providing both technical expertise and academic grounding in the field. I am also an Avid Certified Instructor for Pro Tools, and I have achieved the status of Fellow (FHEA) in recognition of attainment against the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and learning support in Higher Education.

I was born in Athens, Greece, and from an early age, I was fascinated by anything that made a sound. At just four years old, I began learning to play woodwind instruments, and by nine I had joined my local marching band, playing the E♭ clarinet – the only instrument small enough for me to handle at the time.

My passion for music deepened when I attended the Music High School in Pallini, where I broadened my skills and explored a variety of instruments, including piano, saxophone, guitar, bouzouki (a traditional Greek stringed instrument), and saz (a traditional Turkish stringed instrument).

Although I later pursued studies in computer programming and built a career in IT, music remained a central part of my life. I performed regularly with friends and eventually found a way to combine my technical expertise with my love for sound. This led me back to academia, where I earned a BA in Music Production & Engineering from the University of Wales in 2012, followed by an MA in Sound Production from Edinburgh Napier University in 2013. My postgraduate work was recognised with the University Medal for outstanding achievement.
